Prior to this past weekend, I'm probably the only one who had not read Same Kind of Different As Me. My ophthalmologist lauded its praises last June, but did I go out and get a copy? No! My friends, do not follow my example please... It's a feast fit for readers, poets, and kings. It will bless you and perhaps even change you.
As I read this unputdownable nonfiction work, I had to agree with the back-cover blurb: any attempt to enlighten these two unlikely men that they were destined to become forever friends would have solicited a resounding "Never!"from each. But God oozes His plan into our lives in such a delicate fashion, we never see it coming. First-time authors Ron Hall and Denver Moore, with Lynn Vincent have written a book that will weave its way into your heart and touch the back side of your soul with it's wisdom, wit, and heart-gripping appeal. Before you've read the last page, you are sure to be moved to tears and laughter.
Hungry souls hunger to read works which leave rich deposits of truth in us and we are never the same. Works that draw us like a moth to a flame; works that grab the deepest part of our core and feed us with unseen food from another realm. Same Kind of Different As Me is such a work.
